As the title might suggest, The Book With No Pictures is a picture book that has... no pictures!?
Despite the lack of pictures, the book is still a great choice for story times, because it is very self-aware. It talks about how it has no pictures, and the text is large enough for kids to see from their seats if you're reading to a large group, or to read over your shoulder if you're only reading to one or a few.
It's also an excellent opportunity to play with onomatopoeia, because there are a lot of them in this book.
