Love Monster by Rachel Bright

Meet Monster, he's trying to meet someone who will love him, googly-eyes and all. Finding just that perfect someone can be hard in a world where everyone else is cute and fluffy and you're the funny looking one, especially in a town called Cutesville. Monster however is determined, as he sets out on a journey in the "big, wide world," with his monster teddy in hand.

The text is simple, bright and bold for early readers. Author and illustrator Rachel Bright uses a different illustrative technique called "solar etching, which uses ultraviolet plates. So the monster in this book is quite literally, made of sunshine." Now that's a nice thought, isn't it?  Love Monster is a delightful, heartwarming story, much like Penguin in Love by Salina Yoon. Share them both with someone you love, today.
